Let’s Eat – New & Noteworthy Restaurants Near Yacht Haven

We pride ourselves in being extremely close to some incredible restaurants! We’ve curated a list of New & Noteworthy Restaurants in East Fort Lauderdale so that you can get the most out of your experience in sunny South Florida.

Rendezvous Bar & Grill

Less than a 5-minute walk down the marina, you’ll find Rendezvous Bar & Grill. After you catch the sunset from your yacht, you can cruse right into Marina Bay’s own restaurant for some fresh catch. The menu is quite extensive – we recommend going for seafood! – and they also offer amazing lunch and dinner specials each night. There’s truly something for everyone and you just can’t go wrong here. This is our favorite option for something extremely close by.

The rest of our options are about a 15-minute drive away in East Fort Lauderdale. Las Olas and Harbor Beach are chock full of amazing culinary options. Here are our favorites, new and old!

3030 Ocean at The Marriott Harbor Beach

3030 Ocean at the Marriott Harbor Beach in East Fort Lauderdale should be on your list. It’s just fantastic. Everything they make is incredible, and the menu is extremely well-rounded. This is definitely a higher-end restaurant in terms of both quality and price, so we’d recommend saving this for a birthday or an anniversary. The shrimp cocktail, the salads, the fish dishes, the steak, even just the side of carrots…we really just love it here and we’ve never had a bad meal.

Mystic Lobster Roll Co

Are you looking for the classic lobster roll experience of New England? Well, lucky for you, Mystic Lobster Roll just opened a few months ago and features all of your East Coast favorites! They feature sustainably sourced fresh Maine lobster in their rolls plus all of the Maine classics: lobster mac and cheese, blueberry hand pies, and whoopie pies. This would be a really fun, special treat to bring along for a boat day!

Padrinos

Cuban food is a staple in Fort Lauderdale, and one location that’s using family recipes to serve it up fresh is a local favorite – Padrino’s Cuban. The lovely restaurant has been using the same family recipes that have been passed down for generations, since the 30s! You’ll find the typical Cuban fare here, and we love the bistec de pollo, rice, beans & plantains, and the cubanos!

Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale (at the Four Seasons)

Last Spring, we were graced with a new restaurant at the Four Seasons in Fort Lauderdale, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Evelyn’s features Eastern Mediterranean coastal cuisine from known chef Brandon Salomon. The grilled whole branzino is one of the best fish dishes we’ve ever had, and we love the use of Mediterranean spices and flavors throughout the menu.

We hope you explore some of our favorite new and noteworthy local restaurants near Yacht Haven! Happy Eating!
