Florida’s hurricane season runs from June through November with the most active months typically being August and September.
Yacht Haven Park & Marina is fortunate to be set along a protected area of the New River. In many instances, we serve as a secure “hurricane hole” for both mariners and motorcoach enthusiasts seeking safe harbor from passing storms.
However, anytime a strong storm is forecasted to track close to the resort our top priority is the safety of you and your loved ones. We will evacuate Yacht Haven should it become necessary, and we will do so in a timely manner that allows you plenty of time to seek shelter elsewhere.
